Dr. Luksay and our entire dental team are highly experienced in all areas of dentistry. Fees

Our fees are based on the quality of materials we use and our clinical expertise in performing your needed treatment. At the completion of an appointment payment is expected, unless financial arrangements are made in advance. Our payment options include cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard and a monthly payment option through Credit Medical . Credit Medical specializes in providing financial assistance to those seeking extended payment terms for dental services.

After Dr. Luksay has examined you and determined what treatment is needed, he will recommend an appropriate treatment plan. An estimate of our fees and your financial arrangement options will be presented to you at the time of your consultation.

Insurance

Our office understands the value of insurance benefits to our patients. As a courtesy to our patients, we accept assignment of these benefits towards the payment of dental treatment. Dental plans do vary greatly, and we encourage our patients to know their plan to eliminate disappointment with payments and reimbursement. Insurance claims that are not reimbursed to us within 30 days will become the responsibility of the patient. Upon request, we can provide a pre-authorization for estimated insurance coverage in advance of treatment to enable patients to prepare their finances accordingly.

Remember, your dental insurance plan is not a treatment plan. The forms, conditions, and percentages of payments are a contract between you, your employer or union, and the insurance company. Only you and your dentist can decide on the treatment plan that best meets your specific needs and circumstances.

Appointments

We require 24 hours notice for all scheduling changes. Appointments are valuable blocks of time. When an appointment is missed or cancelled without this notice it prevents us from helping someone else. Wasted appointment time also results in higher dental fees. In order to control costs for all of our patients, we must charge a non-refundable fee for all appointments that are missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. As a courtesy to our patients, we will call you in advance to remind you of your appointment. Please help us serve you better by keeping all scheduled appointments.

Hours

Office hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location

Our office is located in central Courtenay along the beautiful Courtenay Riverway Walkway. We are in a professional building beside the Best Western Hotel and across from the Safeway. Ample convenient parking is available and we are wheelchair accessible.
